EXHIBITION “LOVE STORY”

Love Story unfolds as an emotionally rich visual journey, where eight women artists converge in a shared aspiration: to express love through its most delicate and authentic vibrations.

Here, love transcends romantic narratives to embrace deeper human connections — with nature, memory, the body, and life’s most fragile moments — all rendered through feminine perspectives that are contemplative, empathetic, and profound.

This exhibition is a meeting point of artistic voices united by a common desire: to articulate love not merely as romance, but as an intimate emotional response to the world around us. Each work becomes a slice of inner reflection, where beauty is distilled from quiet observation and unspoken stirrings of the soul.

The exhibition space opens a gentle dialogue between viewer and painting — a space where emotion is guided by form, color, and rhythm.

From the nostalgic still lifes of Vũ Thùy Mai, to the structurally powerful abstractions of Hồng Sâm, and the dreamlike silk figures of Lương Thu Hà, each artwork breathes with its own emotional cadence. Mỹ Ngọc narrates through striking black-and-white compositions charged with visual rhythm, while Tống Ngọc weaves tender memories of childhood and blossoming seasons. The flowing strands of hair in Đỗ Duyên’s paintings become currents of liberated inner emotion, while Trần Ngọc Ánh’s intimate world of cats, leaves, and chairs evokes the gentle wit of everyday life. The exhibition concludes with Kim Đoan’s lyrical lacquer works, portraying women from Vietnam’s mountainous regions with rustic grace and quiet depth. Thus, Love Story extends beyond romantic interpretation to become a passage through feminine emotional landscapes — tender, resilient, mysterious, and sincere — where art becomes the most refined voice of the soul.

With 46 works across varied materials — from lacquer and acrylic to silk, watercolor, and print — the exhibition creates a broad emotional spectrum: some works are soft and blurred like memory; others pulse with dynamic visual rhythm; still others are crisp in form yet rich in inner strength. Each medium acts as a distinct voice, joining together in a subtle symphony of feminine sensibilities.

Amid the year-end bustle of Hanoi, “Love Story” invites viewers to pause, to listen, and to rediscover themselves within each hue and line — a journey of remembrance, reflection, and affection.
